Courmel
Well, I'm going to be hosting a new website soon. It will be a comic produced by two of my friends. It is titled "The Adventures of Courmel"
I honestly have no idea what kinda comic it will be, but they are funny people, so I'm sure it'll be funny. Plus they know what xkcd is, so they have good taste.
I'll have an announcement here when I have their website up though... Right now, I'm just a big confused if I should do a modified homebrew solution (cross between Slibe and 5-a-day) or use Comicpress though.. So many choices...
Also, I see that spam below me, right now I don't really have time to deal with my slow internet to remove it though..

Moving!!
Well, I officially have an apartment in my name now so I'm moving out of my parents house! This means things will be more awesome now...
Also, (for the nerds) it means I will have DSL internet instead of this god slow satellite internet. Good bye 256kbit down 64kbit up and 1.5 second ping times!!
So yea, I probably won't be active on this while I prepare to move and all that stuff for a few days...

New layout
Yea, so this is my still very rough layout. I haven't tested it very much, but at least I'm making use of the style sheet now :)
So yea, still needs a lot of work, but its ok for the moment at least.

Lazyness is awesome.
So I was thinking recently about how a lazy CPU would work. You know, lazy as in instead of storing 10 in r0, you would store r1+1 in r0 and it is actually evaluated only when it is told to.
I think it could be pretty neat, for instance making it *very* easy to return functions from functions that are transparent.
And so on you know.
It'd be really neat also having a built in way to return values from a function. Something like where a value is always "returned" on the stack(requiring two machine words for 1 near call) but sometimes it is returned as 0 or whatever and ignored by the caller(thrown away)
Idk, pretty neat stuff really, especially combining with that my recent High Level Assembly stuff for distributed computing.

| Code: |
mov r1,abs(10) clear r0 push_op r0,add 10 push_op r0,add r1 mov r2,abs(r0) ;r2 is now equal to 20 mov r1,abs(50) mov r3,abs(r0) ;r3 is now equal to 60 |

Woo free stuff!
Woo!! I got my free $100 worth of stuff from http://sparkfun.com today! This is like super awesome... I may not have time to update the blog's theme for a while now.. lol
Lets see my list is as follows:
* 2x MUX breakout boards(with MUX chip included)
* 2x Reed switch
* 3x Hall Effect Sensors
* 1 ATMega168 w/ arduino bootloader
* 1 beginner parts kit(assortment of LEDs, transistors, switches and capacitors)
* 1 DIP socket (28-pin 0.3")
* 1 breadboard power supply USB 5V/3.3V (have to solder it together though, which in my opinion is a good thing to practice on)
* 1 mini blue breadboard (it's so cute!)
* 1 Ultrasonic range finder (awesome thing that gives you inches of detail and easy to wire up)
* 1 mini screwdriver
* 1 10-gram solder(leaded) in tube
* 1 third hand (which helps me being a complete noob at soldering)
* 1 solder wick #2 5ft. (apparently good for when you mess up. Hope so!)
I might make a blog post later with pictures, but for now thats it.. Now I'm going to enjoy my box that smells like fresh silicon and lead!

Welcome!
Hey there! This is my new blog! As you can see it's deeply under construction at the moment...
Well, don't worry I'll make it pretty eventually.. Really though, the main engine is mostly complete...
The name of this blog system is SLIBE. Super LIghtweight Blogging Engine. It is BSD licensed(except for this content) and goes into a Postgres Database. The source is obtainable by SVN only at the moment. svn://earlz.biz.tm/slibe
